Dementia

Dementia is an umbrella term for conditions in which the brain gradually deteriorates, such as Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, and frontotemporal dementia.

This can lead to memory loss, difficulty with daily activities, confusion, and changes in behaviour. It affects not only the person themselves, but also those around them.

How can we help you?

How can we help you?

We support people living with dementia in their home environment to remain as independent and engaged in daily life as possible for as long as possible. We focus on what is still possible and adapt activities and the environment accordingly. This may include structuring the day, using memory aids, or making home adaptations to improve safety.

We also support informal caregivers with advice on managing behavioural changes and creating a safe home environment. In doing so, we use the EDOMAH method.

“When I noticed I was increasingly forgetting where I had put my keys, I thought I would no longer be able to manage anything. But with Suze’s help, I created a fixed place for my belongings and a simple daily schedule. Now I feel more confident in my own home.”
