Occupational therapy is included in the basic health insurance package of all Dutch health insurers. Everyone is entitled to at least 10 hours of reimbursed care per calendar year. Please note that this does count towards your deductible. Some additional insurance policies cover extra hours of occupational therapy. You can check whether this applies to your insurance here:
Have you received a referral from your GP, medical specialist, or occupational health physician? If so, we would like to receive it at your first appointment.
If you do not have a referral, we can usually still start treatment directly (direct access to occupational therapy).
Our practice is contracted with all health insurers. For other commissioning parties, we work based on a quotation.
